VERY IMPORTANT ITEMS UP FRONT:
1. Dec.20th is a game day (all game days listed below). This was the only way the county could ensure an 8 game schedule.
2. In-house tournament isFeb. 9-14-THESE DATES ENCOMPASS WILCO SCHOOLS WINTER BREAK.
We know this isn't ideal but there is no other option to get the in-house tourney completed.
3. Evaluations are the week of October 13-17. This should not conflict with CG Football or CG Baseball/Softball tournaments. The Gym floors are getting refinished the week of October 6th so the gym is closed that week. Eval schedule will be finalized prior to registration.
College Grove Basketball Registration for Winter 2025-2026
Registration will OPEN September 2nd, 2025
Registration will CLOSE on October 3rd, 2025
College Grove Athletics is a recreational league with Williamson County Parks & Recreation (WCPR). We offer youth basketball for boys and girls ages 5-18. Our age divisions include 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U. Your child's age on August 31, 2025, is the age used for each division. For example:
A. If your child is 5 or 6 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 6U division.
B. If your child is 7 or 8 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 8U division.
C. If your child is 9 or 10 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 10U division.
D. If your child is 11 or 12 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 12U division.
E. If your child is 13 or 14 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 14U division.
F. If your child is 15 or 16 years old by August 31, 2025, they will play in the 16U division.
*16U division is only OPEN (no rec), HOWEVER, if you have a 16U player who would like to play and is not part of an Open Team roster, we may have the opportunity to form some teams for that division. We are working through the details now and will have more to come.
Evaluations– There will be evaluations this year after the sign-ups close. Since 6U Boys and Girls do not participate in assessments, coaches can lock up to 4 players per team, as the remainder of the roster will be randomly picked by the league. Boys and Girls (8U-14U) will go through the evaluations in the College Grove Rec Gym, which allows coaches and assistants to grade/score the players. Players unable to attend the assessment name will go in a hat and be picked randomly by the coaches at the Draft. EVALUATIONS WILL BE THE WEEK OFOCTOBER 13-17
*COACHES' KIDS WILL BE EVALUATED THIS YEAR AND GRADED TO DETERMINE DRAFT PICK USED FOR THEM. If you're familiar with the flag football draft this is very similar. The goal is to create parity and not discourage parents from coaching if they have to use their first pick on their child.
