2026 Spring Baseball registration is open! There is a great deal of information that follows about the upcoming season which also includes some

Spring League Details
- Registration is open until February 7th at www.collegegroveathletics.com. Login if you already have an account otherwise select "Register" in the top right corner to create an account.
- Space is limited based on coach volunteers. Please register as a coaching volunteer if you are interested, so we can allow as many kids to play as possible. We will start waitlists if not enough coaches sign up.
- We will be offering 5U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U divisions.
- The age cut off is your child's age as of APRIL 30, 2026. For example, if your child is either 7 or 8 on April 30, 2025 they will be in the 8U division. If they are 9 or 10 they will be in the 10U division and so on.
- Games will be at Lions Club Park at College Grove in front of College Grove Elementary School, Cecil Lewis Park at Trinity, Bethesda Park or Heritage Park in Thompson's Station. (14U games may be played outside these locations)
- Rec league teams play one game twice a week, which can be weeknights and/or Saturdays
- 5U games will be primarily on Saturdays
- 6U - 12U will participate in the end of season INTERNAL tournament.
- Typically two practices per week in pre-season and one practice per week once games begin.
- For 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U we will have MANDATORY evaluations in February. Additional information regarding evaluations for each age group will be sent later.
Rec All-Star Teams (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U ONLY)
As in the past few seasons we will participate in an All Star Tournament with Bethesda, EWA and SWA (Pending Confirmation). The feedback surrounding this event has been overwhelmingly positive. We plan to again select All-Stars for the Spring and participate in a post-season competition with other all-star teams. A child must participate in the Spring Rec program in order to be eligible for selection.
Open League (Pending)
In prior seasons College Grove has submitted a team comprised of our registrants into the Open League. Once registration is complete and we know how many kids are participating we will be in a better position to make that determination. Any Open team participants are NOT eligible for All-Star teams.
Registration Fees
Due to the Counties new Safe Stars contract, our per player costs have increased significantly. Although we strive to keep costs to a minimum, this per player increase was not something we could absorb as a non profit. Although significant, our player fees are still equal to or less than many other local leagues. It is very important to us that every child has an opportunity to participate. Important Dates:
- Registration closes February 7
- Rec evaluations will be approx. February 16-21
- Practices start the week of February 23
- Games Start on March 16 or 23 (Pending)
- Tournaments will conclude by May 23
- All-Stars (discussed above) will start after the season and continue into June
