A child must participate in the FallRec program in order to be eligible for selection.

- Rec evaluations will be approx. July 20-24
- Practices start the week of July 27
- Games Start the week of August 17th (Pending)
- Tournaments will conclude by October 31
- All-Stars (discussed above) will start after the season and continue into November
Concessions Fee:
We strive to keep our registration fees as low as possible, and as a volunteer-run organization we sometimes need to lean on our community for help. Many of our concession workers graduated in the spring, so we are need of help from our baseball families to share the load.
Going forward, each family will be charged a $20 concession fee as a deposit on a one-hour volunteer shift at the concession stand. Upon completion of a one hour shift, the volunteer will receive a $20 Visa gift card to serve as a repayment of that fee. This will also allow us to lower our concession prices.
We understand every family’s situation is different, and some may not be able to volunteer for a shift.
The concession stand is a service to the community, by the community, and $20 a family is a small amount to ensure we are able to continue to offer this service.
A signup will be distributed once the baseball schedule has been set. It will be posted to the concession stand weekly. If someone does not show for their shift, the stand will not be able to operate. Any questions can be directed to [email protected]. We appreciate your understanding and efforts to ensure the concession stand can continue to operate.
Open League:
College Grove Rec is excited to introduce the College Grove Patriots baseball program. This travel team will be made up of current and future College Grove Rec players and is designed to help develop our local youth athletes and provide a higher level of play.
These teams will compete as College Grove Rec Open teams. When registration opens on 05/29/2026, families interested in Open/Travel should register their child for the appropriate OPEN team based on age. Open team registration fees will match the Rec fee for each age group. Players who are not selected for an Open roster will be placed in the Fall Rec program.
If you prefer not to play on a rec team, you may cancel your registration, but may incur a fee of $100.
Program Commitment: Families of selected players should expect a higher level of commitment, as these teams will play an Open schedule and operate as a full travel program. The season will begin in the fall and continue through the spring, following the standard travel baseball calendar.
Nonprofit Program — Affordable Costs: This travel program is nonprofit, so there will be no paid coaches or excessive fees. Costs will be shared among the selected players at each level and will cover tournaments, uniforms, indoor practice facilities, and other team expenses. As a result, the program will cost significantly less than traditional for-profit travel programs.
Division Head Coach:

Tryout dates for these programs will vary per age at the end of June and through mid-July. Participation in these tryouts will be a requirement for all — confirmed dates will be announced soon.
